Privacy policy

GWA Website Builder (studio.gwa-group.com and app.studio.gwa-group.com) is run by GWA Group. This policy explains what we collect when you use it, and what we do with it.

Your account: your name, your email address and your password. The password is stored only as a one-way hash; nobody at GWA can read it.

If you sign in with Google: your name, your email address and your Google account identifier. We ask Google for nothing else, and we never see your Google password.

Your sites: the text, images, files, menus and settings you add to the sites you build.

Billing: your plan, the amounts and dates of your payments and their status. Card and PayPal account details are entered with the payment provider, not with us, and we do not store them.

Domains: if you buy a domain through us, the contact details a domain registrar requires for it.

Support: the messages and attachments you send us.

Technical data: our servers keep standard logs, including IP addresses, to run the service and protect it from abuse.

To create and sign you into your account, host and publish your sites, take payment for your plan, register domains you order, send you emails about your account and sites, answer support requests, and keep the service secure.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

The name, email address and account identifier we receive from Google are used only to create your account and sign you in. They are not shared with anyone else, not used for advertising, and not used to train AI models.

GWA Website Builder's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Payment providers such as PayPal, to take payments. A domain registrar, only when you buy a domain. An email delivery service, to send our emails. Authorities, only when the law requires it.

Each of them receives only what its part of the job needs.

We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to protect the sign-in. Your language and light or dark preference are kept in your own browser. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Each site belongs to its owner, who decides what its forms and newsletter collect and is responsible for that data. We store it on the owner's behalf.

Visitor statistics record the page viewed, its language and an approximate location worked out from the visitor's IP address. The IP address itself is not kept in the statistics.

For as long as your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete it and its sites; copies in our backups disappear as those backups are replaced. Payment records are kept as long as accounting law requires.

You can see and change your details in your account at any time. To get a copy of your data, or to have your account and its data deleted, email support@gwa-group.com from the address on your account.

If you signed in with Google, you can also remove GWA Website Builder's access at any time from your Google account's security settings.

Every page is served over HTTPS, passwords are stored hashed, and access to our servers is limited to the staff who run them.

GWA Website Builder is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
